    Potable Water Generation System

    Potable water generation system also called as pretreatment plant is critical part of any water treatment plant. Before raw water fed to the purified water generation (PWG) system it is conditioned with the help of pretreatment plant to produce potable water of desired quality. 


    G M Water Solutions offers combination of treatment schemes for handling different types of raw water impurities.


    • Disinfection System


    Water used for preparation of medicines must be free of all biological/bacterial impurities. Disinfection of water at different locations in the water treatment plant plays a vital role to achieve the highest quality of high purity water. We offer two types of disinfection systems. 


    1. Chlorination 
    2. Ozonation


    • Filtration System 


    Filtration is require for removal of the suspended and colloidal particles from water before its fed to the main stream. Water having high suspended and colloidal impurities can heavily foul RO membranes and also can choke the Ion exchange resins bed. G M Water offers following range of filtration units based on the load of suspended solids.


    1. Multi Grade Sand Filter (MGF)
    2. Ultra-Filtration Unit (UF)
    3. Self Cleaning Filter (SCF)
    4. Micron Filtration


    • Ions Removal Process


    Reduction of ionic impurities is essential before it enters to purified water generation system. To produce potable water quality from the source water G M Water gives following ions removal process.


    1. Ion exchange Softening 
    2. Reverse Osmosis
    3. Demineralization ( DM Plant)

    Purified Water Generation Systems

    G M Water Purified water generation system is fully automated unit, which utilizes RO and EDI technology to meet purified water specifications set by various regulatory authorities (USFDA/EP/WHO).  System is equipped with numbers of quality and quantity measuring instruments and hence able to record all real time data which helps us for doing trend analysis as well safe guard RO and EDI units from failure. The PWG system can be available in hot and chemical sanitizable version.

    Storage & Distribution Systems

    Once water has been purified using an appropriate method, this enters into a storage tank for subsequent distribution to point of use. The storage and distribution system is configured to prevent recontamination of the water after treatment and be subjected to a combination of online and offline monitoring to ensure that the appropriate water specification is maintained. Distribution pump to supply purified water/WFI is made of sanitary design. To avoid stagnancy of water inside the tank when not in use circulation is maintained with the help of distribution pumps. Distribution pumps deliver water to all point of use (POU, s) valves and always maintain velocity more than or equal to 1.2 m/sec at return line, which is monitored by a flow indicating transmitter installed at return line.  Storage & Distribution system operation is automatic and controlled through PLC via HMI mounted on control panel.  G M Water offers following combinations of storage & distribution systems based on customer/end use applications -
